From India in 2019 to Southampton today
KHS began in India in 2019 as a legal practice. In 2024 we set up KHS Investments and Legal Ltd in the UK, registered in England and Wales, so we could serve UK clients directly.
Today our Southampton-based team provides unregulated legal, accounting and business services to companies, founders, landlords and families across the whole UK, working by phone, video call and email as well as in person. For NRIs, KHS Associates and our network of over 80 lawyers handle matters across India.
We keep things simple: one dedicated advisor, a clear price before work starts, and honest advice about what we can and can't do.

Regulatory information
KHS Investments and Legal Ltd is an unregulated firm. It is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and provides unregulated legal and business services only.
KHS does not carry out immigration or lease work. We can refer you to independent SRA-regulated solicitors (or, for immigration, Registered Foreign Lawyers). This is a referral only: KHS is not involved in that work, and the solicitor or RFL is responsible for it.
- Services provided by KHS are not covered by the SRA Compensation Fund.
- KHS is not required to hold professional indemnity insurance on the SRA's minimum terms. Ask us for details of the cover that applies to your matter.
- You can complain to the SRA about the conduct of an SRA-regulated solicitor or RFL, and to the Legal Ombudsman about their legal services. You cannot complain to the SRA or the Legal Ombudsman about KHS itself.
- Before you instruct us, we will tell you in writing who will carry out your work and how to complain. Read our complaints procedure.

- Representing you in court as your lawyer (we can support you as a McKenzie Friend, and ask the judge for permission to speak for you when needed)

- Notarial services and administering oaths
- Immigration advice or applications (referral only)
- Lease drafting or lease work (referral only)
- Employment tribunal claims and other claims management
- Regulated financial, investment or debt advice
- Mortgage or loan broking
- Statutory audits
- Insolvency services
